Coming January 1: The Write More Collective
A fun, free way to commit to writing more in the new year—together!
Beyond the Page is on a brief hiatus until we start The Write More Collective in January, at which point I’ll send out both challenge-related posts and our regularly scheduled posts on reading, writing, and creativity. Hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and new year!
Hi friends,
The new year is just a few weeks away. That means we’re just a few weeks away from kicking off The Write More Collective!
What is The Write More Collective, you ask?
The Write More Collective is a month-long writing challenge aimed at helping you carve out more time for your writing practice. As the name suggests, the first goal of the challenge is to write more, whether that be more words, more minutes, or more days of the month. The second goal of the Write More Collective is to be in community with fellow writers as we each endeavor to put words to paper! The challenge lasts a month and can be done entirely asynchronously, so you can work at the pace and time that’s best for you. There will be friendly competition, group chats to celebrate each other’s wins, and maybe even a small prize for those who write the most words, the most minutes, and the most days of the month.
